2012 was the Year of the Voice,
The committee's so happy for making this choice!
Jarman's finale created energy galore:
We heard all campers sing and the audience roar!
Some were much younger but by no means less skilled;
Ten year olds in senior strings had the audience thrilled.
The tutors and conductors displayed passion, and cared,
Strong friendships and music were developed and shared!

Another superb year!
Congratulations to all involved!!
See you next year...

2012 Rehearsals were grand, All set for the concert; strings, choir and band!

2012 was another great year
240 kids and 40 tutors to steer
The rehearsals have been flowing so tightly
The pieces and kids have improved out of sightly
The elective concert went off with no fuss
Movie Music was groovy, School of Rock was A Plus
Now we’re all ready for the Grand Costa Hall
To show all the families, GSMC is a ball!

The end of day four, Elective Concert and more!

Our last day of rehearsals before Costa Hall
The elective concert again had it all
The two new electives were made to fit
Movie and Folk Music, what a hit!
Then to prepare for the very last time
The final rehearsals, the sound was sublime
The finale is rocking, all ready to go
Can’t wait for performance time, on with the show!

Day three was a hit, Can you feel it?

The kids are working well, all throughout the day
Choir rehearsed together as the orchestra did play
Elective sessions were lots of fun to do
Theatre Sports was funny, so was Swing Dance too
With one full day left of our practice
Everyone is tired, feeling a little cactus
But it will all be great when it comes to call
Magnificent music filling up the Costa Hall

Lots to do on Day Two!

The day started off with our massed rehearsal
A Michael Jackson tune that is universal
The symphony rehearsed while all the others sang
Thursday night’s concert will go off with a bang
Then on to a day of serious preparation
But fun all the same, without hesitation
Another fun day at the GSMC
Music is important, but fun is the key!
