ABOUT GSMC

Geelong Summer Music Camp provides a day camp experience for music students from 10 to 21 years*. Our goal is to provide an immersive and fun environment for students to learn and grow their musical abilities and friendships. With experienced instructors and a diverse range of activities, we offer a unique opportunity for students to explore and be inspired by a community of like minded people. GSMC is a long standing summer holiday activity which is run by a volunteer committee and has provided students with its unique Music Camp experience since 1981. For many campers it is the highlight of their group music making for the year, providing excellent ensembles and tutorage.

MEET THE COMMITTEE

The GSMC Committee members serve our community as volunteers who are passionate about providing a fun and engaging music camp experience for young musicians from the Geelong region, across Victoria and even students from interstate and over seas.

The Committee is made up of members with a broad range of skills and professional backgrounds including music teachers, community musicians, parents of campers and past campers. Many of the committee grew up attending GSMC and pay testament to the positive impact it has had on them as young musicians and people.
