Jen Clutterbuck is delighted to be conducting the Bellarine Concert Band at the 2026 Geelong Summer Music Camp. Her connection with GSMC goes back to her first camp at age 13, an experience that sparked many years of returning as a participant, tutor, committee member, and now, conductor. She values and promotes the camp’s strong tradition of high-quality music-making and its supportive and inclusive community.

Jen is the Head of Middle and Junior School Music at The Geelong College, where she draws on a Kodály informed approach to build music literacy and encourage an active and joyful classroom. Alongside her classroom teaching, she directs concert bands and choirs, helping students discover the rewards of performing in an ensemble.

A French horn player, Jen studied a Bachelor of Music at The University of Melbourne before completing a Master of Teaching and a Master of Education. She has been a member of the Geelong Concert Band for nearly two decades and currently conducts its intermediate ensemble, the Community Band. With a strong belief in the power of music to connect people, foster social and emotional growth, and create lasting friendships, Jen is passionate about community music-making and sharing these experiences with others.
